Crop Science

Genetics, Genomics and Breeding

October 31 – November 02, 2025

University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore

About the Conference

Climate-conscious agriculture

Advancing Climate-Resilient Agriculture

The remarkable progress in plant genetics, genomics, and breeding has revolutionized our approach to crop improvement in the changing climate. These advances have become central to addressing the grand challenges of agriculture posed by climate variability, resource limitations, and evolving pest and disease pressures.

As the frequency and intensity of climate-related stresses increase, integrating genomic tools with conventional breeding holds transformative potential to accelerate the development of climate-resilient crop varieties.
